How to use NextCourt

A step-by-step guide to everything the app does today. During beta it's completely free — no card, no subscription. Pick a topic or scroll through.

01 Create your account & sign in +

Getting into NextCourt takes a minute. You'll need to be 18 or older during beta.

  1. Download NextCourt from the App Store or Google Play and open it.
  2. Sign up with your email, Google or Apple account.
  3. Complete your profile: your name, the sports you play and your level in each, plus your rackets. Pick one main sport.
  4. Turn on biometric login (Face ID or fingerprint) when asked, so you can get back in with a tap.
  5. Follow the quick guided tour. The (i) icon in each section's header replays it any time.
02 Your Home dashboard +

Home is the gold button in the center of the bottom bar — your at-a-glance hub.

  1. See your stats: matches played, wins, current streak and hours on court.
  2. Track your rackets: NextCourt reminds you when it's time to restring, based on hours played.
  3. Jump straight to your next scheduled match or your squad's next training session.
  4. Tap the center Home button any time to jump back to the top.
03 Find a partner with NextPlay +

NextPlay (the handshake tab) is how you find someone to play — directly, or by letting the app match you.

  1. Tap NextPlay, then "Find a playing partner" to invite someone directly, or post your availability to be auto-matched.
  2. Set your sport, date and time, preferred courts and level range. Choose singles or doubles.
  3. For doubles, invite players into the open slots or let others claim them from the feed.
  4. Need to adjust? Use "Suggest a change" to propose a new time, court or level — the other player accepts or declines.
  5. After you play, register the score. Your opponent confirms, corrects or declines it. Once you both agree, it's official.
04 Find & review courts +

Courts (in the More menu) puts every court near you on a map.

  1. Search or browse the map for public, private and community courts. Your most-used courts appear under "Your courts".
  2. Open a court to see details, reviews and current availability reports from other players.
  3. Can't find a court? Add it yourself — new courts appear once our team approves them.
  4. Rate courts you've played on — surface, lighting, parking and amenities — to help other players.
05 Matches, rankings & teams in Arena +

Arena (in the More menu) is where your competitive life lives.

  1. Matches: see your games and record scores from your phone. Casual matches are created through NextPlay.
  2. Rankings: follow the standings. During beta rankings are read-only — they go live in the next phase.
  3. Teams: create a team, invite members and manage your roster for competitive play.
06 Join tournaments & leagues +

Tournaments and leagues are organized on NextCourt across all four sports.

  1. Browse open events on the tournaments page — registration takes minutes and no account is required.
  2. After you register, you get an email with a link to claim your spot inside the app.
  3. Claim it to see your division, your schedule and your matches, and record scores as you play.
07 Train with a coach +

Coach (the graduation-cap tab) connects you with coaches for your sport.

  1. Browse coaches and open a profile to see specialties, experience and reviews.
  2. Request a lesson at a time that works — the coach confirms, and you can chat in-app.
  3. During beta you arrange payment directly with your coach (cash, Zelle, Pix or another method you agree on) — no charge in the app.
  4. Need to move a lesson? Send a reschedule or cancel request; your coach can accept it or offer alternatives.
  5. Already have a coach? They can invite you with a link or QR code — confirm it to connect.
08 Play together with Squads +

Squad (the shield tab) is your group — the anti-WhatsApp for your crew.

  1. Create a squad, or accept an invite from the Squad list.
  2. Set up recurring training sessions; members RSVP going / maybe / can't and get reminders.
  3. Chat with the whole group, share photos and pin the announcements everyone needs to see.
  4. Run polls to decide times, courts or anything else — results in one tap.
09 Share your game +

Your matches become cards you can share in the community feed (Locker Room, in the More menu).

  1. After a match, a match card is created with the result and any photo you added.
  2. A card is only published once every player in the match approves it.
  3. Browse the Locker Room feed, and like and comment on other players' cards.
10 Your profile, equipment & privacy +

Profile (in the More menu) is your identity on court and your control panel.

  1. Edit your display name, photo, sports and levels.
  2. Manage your rackets per sport — including strings and tension for tennis.
  3. Control what's public: phone, WhatsApp and Instagram are private by default — turn each one on only if you want it shown.
  4. Need to leave? Request account deletion from your profile. There's a 15-day grace period to change your mind.
11 Get help & shape the future with us +

We're building NextCourt with you. Three shortcuts make that easy.

  1. Support: open a ticket from the More menu. We capture your app details automatically — you never have to describe your setup.
  2. Player Voice: tap the floating feedback button on any screen to send an idea, report a bug or leave praise, with a screenshot.
  3. What's New: check the What's New posts to see what we've just shipped.
